The 'monkey-mind' can feel like your mind is out of control and there is nothing you can do to control it.
Practicing mindfulness can tame the 'monkey-mind', change the way you react to circumstances, make you calmer, confident, more able to concentrate on the things you want to focus on and improves your relationships.
Mindfulness can also change the way your physical brain works to benefit you - this is called neuroplasticity.
Meditating and "being in the now" sounds an easy thing to do but it takes regular practice and knowledge of practical tools to help you throughout the day.
I can teach you how to be mindful during your daily activities and nobody will be able to tell that you are being mindful, only that you seem calmer, more confident and are being true to yourself.
